When you support HAFCI, you are contributing to a safer, healthier community. 90% of clients enrolled decrease their use of drugs or alcohol and more than 50% are able to maintain sobriety for 3 to 5 years. 75% decrease in their criminal activity, become a tax payer and reunite with their families. HAFCI's extremely high success rates mean that your donation has an immediate measurable result of saving lives and healing families.

The vital services provided by HAFCI reach 65,000 people each year and do so on a cost-effective basis. For example, it costs $915-$1,950 per year to treat an addict on an outpatient basis as opposed to $30,000 per year to house the addict in county jail; $7 hard dollars are saved for every $1 dollar spent on treatment. A visit to the Free Medical Clinics costs around $110, while the same service would cost $750 at San Francisco General Emergency. Your contributions, however large or small, truly go a long way.
