(SAC) Work Party!
Woo Hoo! It's that time of the year again, when we get together at the amphitheater, pull everything out of main medical, let it breathe, try to reorganize it, and shove it back in. If you can make it, we would love to see you on Saturday, February 25th from 9am to 4pm. Usually lunch is provided. If you can be there, please sign up on staffeasy so we know how many fabulous people will be there! :-)

Orientations 2006 TBA (To Be Announced)
The annual Rock Medicine Orientations will most likely be held in April 2006. We'll be having two sessions one at Shoreline, Mountianview & one in the Sac Val Sleeptrain Amphitheater. As soon as we have the Dates & time they'll be posted. 

MDs & everyone will attend orientation

The philosophy of Rock Med and its participants is simple:  "Take care of the individual right now and return him to his friends or his family and do away with the necessity of either hospitalizing him or getting him involved with the law."

Rock Medicine Success Story:

Rock Medicine received this letter of thanks from one of our many satisfied clients from the year 2001. Rock Medicine and its 350 active volunteers covered over 450 shows at 23 venues. We provided care at shows that covered a wide spectrum of modern entertainment. The highlights included the first rock and roll show at the Pac Bell Ballpark with the Dave Matthews Band, the Dalai Lama at Shoreline Amphitheater; the Ozzy Osbourne Fest at Sacramento Valley Amphitheater; 4th of July Fireworks at Fisherman's Wharf; and the Van's Warped Tour at the Boreal Ridge Ski Area in Lake Tahoe.

Rock Medicine continues to provide comprehensive medical care, crisis intervention, training, and as we see from the letter above, education and awareness

The latest show information can be gotten off the tape. RAZ wants every one to remember that there is NO eMail Booking. Call the office and leave a message w/ your phone # and RAZ will get back to you.

This list is just a guide, always check with the tape at the Rock 
Medicine Office for last minute changes, parking info. 

Listen to the Tape before Booking (415-487-3681), If the show 
isn't mentioned that means that the list is full and closed to booking. 

 

Last Years Information:
Orientations Booking Now Call the Office

The annual Rock Medicine Orientations will be held at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View on Saturday, last year at 12 Noon and at the Sac Val Sleeptrain Amphitheater on Saturday, last yesr at 12 Noon. These will be the only times we will be accepting new volunteers this year, except for physicians, PAs, and NP, whom we accept year round. To sign up for these orientations, you only need to attend one, call this number 415-487-3681 starting Mon March soon, 2006. Slowly leave you name, your phone number where you can be reached, and certification (CPR, EMT, RN etc.). I will call you back with instructions and directions on what you will need to attend.
